Maria has been with Chapters for eight years and is one of our most experienced stylists with over nineteen years in the business.  There is, however, one important fact you need to know...

Since joining Chapters in 2001 Maria has been known to you all as 'Hannah'. This is because when she arrived we already had a Maria and so to avoid confusion she chose an alternative name.

Now original Maria is no longer here Maria M wishes to revert to the name on her birth certificate! So Maria it is from now on...

Maria leads our specialist Bridal Hair team and takes great inspiration from weddings and working with clients on the most important day of their lives. "I love making people look beautiful" she confesses.

What she most enjoys about her work at Chapters is meeting new people and making them happy. She also rates her colleagues highly: "There is a brilliant atmosphere here at the salon and it's all down to the people I work with."

When she is not walking the floor of the salon, Maria is to be found pounding the streets as her favourite hobby is running - she recently competed in the Race for Life and raised funds for Cancer Research UK.

A keen animal lover with a small menagerie of pets - cat, dog, hamster and fish. If she wasn't content with being a hairdresser our caring Maria would seriously consider a career in nursing.
